Gameday: vs. Montreal Canadiens November 10th, 2007

The Sens are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 4-1 loss to Washington on Thursday night. It will be the first time the Sens play Montreal since squeaking out a 4-3 victory after giving up a 3-1 lead. That night also saw Wade Redden collecting 1 goal and 2 points against Montreal and Daniel Alfredsson leading the way with 3 points (all assists) . The Habs should return Cristobal Huet in nets who shut out the Buffalo Sabres only to be sat out a few nights later against the Boston Bruins. After another shaky performance by Ray Emery, we can expect John Paddock to insert Martin Gerber back in goal for the Sens.

A few notes for tonight’s game:

- Daniel Alfredsson has 74 career points in 58 games against Montreal

- Jason Spezza will remain out of the lineup and after leaving Thursday’s game because of a shot to the hip, Anton Volchenkov will suit up on the blue line

- Brian McGrattan will likely be taken out of the lineup and replaced with Nick Foligno who scored his first career goal in the last game against Montreal

The Senators lineup for tonight:

Heatley-Robitaille-Alfredsson
Foligno-Fisher-Neil
Vermette-Kelly-Eaves
Schubert-McAmmond-Donovan

Phillips-Volchenkov
Redden-Mezsaros
Richardson-Corvo

Gerber
Emery
